I have attached the web page from the Calgary Herald for today. It concerns a woman from Pakistan, who immigrated to Canada, and who now wants to be sworn in as a Canadian citizen. Fair enough I suppose, when one considers that often women in these countries where being a Muslim is the name of the game, live under oppression.

This woman wants to live under Canadian rules and law, not Pakistani. BUT, she thinks we should CHANGE our laws regarding your face being uncovered for he swearing in.

I almost puked at that one. And it seems that one of the Canadian courts has AGREED with her!

If we cave in on this itsy bitsy item, I suspect that next week she will want to learn to drive, wearing the same facial covering.

We did not invite her here, she wanted to come. She knew what our laws were, but I’m confident in my mind that she thought she could get those laws changed. I suggest to her that should she like that so much, she may consider going back there where she can then enjoy all the other repressive laws they have for women. I have no patience with this issue, and wonder if the judge in the court case has looked at a newspaper and has seen what is going on in Europe. If so I really have to wonder what this judge was thinking.

A month from now it will be we want Sharia Law, something, I do not want nor does any other thinking person on the planet.

Europe is overrun with Muslims that wish to bring their brand of living, which was why they left it behind, to the European countries. Sadly they have been successful.

To Vaccinate or Not To Vaccinate.

If you are of an age like I am, you will certainly recall the annual scourge of polio. You will also remember TB, Diphtheria, Measles, Chicken Pox, Small Pox, and it escapes me as to what some other were. These were all killing, disabling diseases that were spread every year. And then somebody create an immunity vaccine. These diseases were literally stopped in their tracks.

These diseases have all been pretty much obliterated and those people coming along now have no idea as to what it was like and how much heartache the diseases caused to say nothing of the deaths

One of the downsides of the Internet is the proliferation of falsehoods, lies, nonsense, and a place for deniers of all stripes to fertilize their acceptance and belief in myths, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories. When they embrace this stuff they often deny access to their children of scientifically demonstrated protection. Should be a crime to do that, but it would likely fall under the politically correct umbrella.

I offer yet another column from the Herald on this issue. Vaccination

I worked in the Auto Industry at mostly the wholesale level, and early on at the retail level. This video is on the actual manufacturing of some GM engines at the GM engine plant in Tonawanda NY. I have seen a similar operation at the Engine plant in St. Catherine’s Ontario, but that was a very long time ago. Note if you will how clean the plant is, and note too that it has been building engines since 1938!

Some of you anyway will remember a guy, a comedian, who went by the name of George Carlin. He has been dead now for a number of years, but his comedy lives on via the Internet. He can have quite a potty mouth, but this effort is fairly clean. Carlin

Truly Blond…

A blond has become dreadfully overweight.  She goes to the doctor and he decides to put her on a diet.

"I want you to eat normally for two days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks.  Next time I see you, you’ll probably be 5 pounds lighter."

The blonde returns after 2 weeks, but upon weighing her it turns out she lost 20 pounds.

"That’s amazing!" Said the doctor, "and you followed my instructions?"

The blond nods, tiredly.  "I’ll tell you, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day."

"From hunger, you mean?" Asked her doctor.

"No, silly, from the skipping!"

A new blonde stewardess began her first day.  The route they were flying required that they make a stop in another city for the night.  Soon after their arrival the captain showed all the flight attendants to their rooms.

The next morning the pilot was preparing everyone to leave, and he noticed his new flight attendant was missing.

He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up, as he was wondering what happened to her.  She answered the phone, sobbing.  "I can’t get out of my room!"

“You can’t get out of your room?” the captain asked, “Why not?” The stewardess replied, “There are only three doors in here,” she cried, “one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says, ‘Do Not Disturb’!”

A manager walks by his blonde secretary’s desk when he notices she is crying her eyes out.  Concerned for her well being, he asked her gently: "What’s the matter?"

To which the blonde replies, “Early this morning I got a phone call saying that my aunt had passed away.” The boss, feeling very sorry for her, suggests to the young girl.  “Why don’t you take a day, go home and rest.  We’re not very busy, so just take this time for yourself.

The blonde very calmly replies “No, I’d be better off here.  It’s good to keep my mind off it and I have the best chance of doing that here.” The boss agrees and allows the blonde to work as usual.  “If you need anything just let me know.” Well, a few hours pass and the boss decides to check on the blonde.  He looks out over his office and sees the blonde crying hysterically.  He rushes out to her asking, “What’s so bad now?  Are you gonna be okay?” “No”, exclaims the blonde, “I just received a horrible call from my sister and she said that HER aunt died too!”

Have a Great Day, and be nice to one another.
